Welcome to the 4th PAGES Open Science Meeting The Past: A Compass for Future Earth
The PAGES Open Science Meeting (OSM) held once every four years, is the premier event in the PAGES calendar. The 4th PAGES OSM 2013 will be an international and multi-disciplinary platform for sharing latest research results and the venue for defining the role of past global change science for the next decade.
Plenary Talks
Plenary talks will provide broad overviews over a research area and stimulate discussions on future directions of PAGES science. Plenary talks are 25 minutes long followed by 5 minutes of questions. Please see the list of plenary talks here.
Parallel and Poster Sessions
Sixteen parallel sessions will highlight latest research results on specific PAGES-relevant themes. Each session will usually have one oral block and a poster block. Each block is of 1.5 hours duration and consists of six 15-minute talks. Two oral sessions will run in parallel.
Please see the list of Parallel Sessions here.
Public Lecture
The public lecture is scheduled for the evening of 14 Feb and will be delivered by Dr. Rajendra K. Pachauri Director-General of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi, India & Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The lecture will take place at the National Institute of Oceanography, and will be followed by a panel discussion with eminent scientists and interactions with the audience. The event will conclude with a “high tea” reception arranged by NCAOR.
